Class Picnic

Prior to the Christmas holidays during my second year at St. Francis, students and faculty of standards 5-10 visited Mahabaleshwar, a hill station about 120 km from Pune for the annual class picnic. In all, there were around 110 students and 10 staff members on this outing. This was the first time that my children were getting to go on a picnic with senior school children as standards 1-4 go for their picnic to parks and resorts closer to Pune keeping their age in mind. Thus, they were excited and felt quite grown up!
